I shot multiple pictures this morning of the sunrise on Higgins Lake, Michigan from the Higgins Lake Boat Club. what size of pond/lake do shad and other bait fish stop breeding in? When no shad or little minnows are present what do the predator fish eat? and what size of resavors do predator fish (bass catfish crappie ect.) stop breeding?
I live on a small/medium lake that has houses around about 70% of it. Is it safe to eat the bluegill from a lake like this or is there too much danger of contamination? I have seen lots of other people take fish from this lake. Also, there have never been any reports of the water being polluted.
