Hamster Teeth Help.?
I am about to begin taming my hamster to trust me but i want to be sure his teeth are short are sharp, not dull long and rigged. I know that they can be nippy especially when taming so i want to be sure i do all that i can to ensure his teeth are good to keep the pain down if I do happen to get nipped. If you could tell me what kinds of nuts, fruits, veggies would help him out, i also heard dog biscuits are good but if you could recomend a brand and kind that would be great, i want to be sure a get the right one and not make him sick. He has also been chewing on the cage wire which i read could be from bordom, i have a little wood jungle gym set up for him and a plastic running wheel plus a wood house and a little stick that is supposed to be a bird perch but he climbs and chews on it, how can i prevent bordom and keep him from chewing on the cage? And are there any woods that would be unsafe to put in my hamsters cage for him to chew on? and how can i clean wood from outside to make..
…it safe and clean for him? and last question how can i clean a rock from the outdoors for him to play on, are there any rocks that are unsafe for him? Sorry its so lengthy, please answer all of them ASAP because i know its not safe for him to chew on the cage and i want his teeth to be healthy, so please answer and only answer if you really have tried this and know its ok for them, otherwise you could make it worse for him and possibly kill him, also if you are telling me about nuts please tell me how they should be, eg: shell on or off, salted, unsalted, roasted, unroasted. let me know, thanks

My friend abused my parakeet what do i do?
Ok so i opened his cage incase he wanted to come out and play and she friggin hit his cage with a chair on purpose so he would come out. then he came out obviously and everythime he would perch on something and just sit there she would throw something at him so he would fly i am so pissed and i wanna give her wat she deserves wat do i do?
btw i kept telling her to stop but she wouldnt!

lovebird’s sleeping?
my love bird is in and out of her cage most of the day and is very active and love standing on her perches and im sure shes healthy but every night she sleeps at the bottom of her cage so i put a towel there for her to sleep on and now she burrows into it and falls alseep. Anyways i was just wondering if that was normal.
her name is peaches and she is a peach faced but she has an orange yellow faced with “normal coloring”
Should cockatiels sleep with one foot up and hold things in there claws?
I have had my cockatiel for a few months and he is finally get hand trained. But now that I am spending more time with him I realize that he will not pick up food in his claw. Also when he slepps he is on his perch near the end of his cage and he sleeps with one claw rapped around the side of his cage not tucked up. I know other birds sleep with a leg tucked up and use there claws to hold things, like a cracker. So I was just wondering if any one elses cockatiel uses there claws to eat and if they sleep with one leg up?
Is my bird really that smart?
OMG we just got our quaker parrot about a week ago.he very sweet and loves be held and petted. one day after we had had him for like two days. i had to put him up in his cage for a minute. he just sat there on his perch waching me wanting out again. so itold him to play with his toys. a few minutes later I walked into to where his cage is because of all the noise i heard .and he was playing with his mirror trying to undo it from the side of his cage and banging it around. since then if Itell him to play with his toys he will go and play with his mirror for like twenty minutes. he has done it three times now and want to know if you think it is just a cuincedince or if he knows what i am saying.

dead bird?
This morning I woke up not only to the first day of school, but to my little brother’s pet parakeet dead at the bottom of its cage. The day before it seemed fine. It was chirping away like always, but I did notice it sitting at the bottom of the cage puffed out. That was the only weird behavior I saw. In its cage it’s laying there with its eyes open and it looks like the claws are tucked away under his feathers. It looks like he just fell off the perch to me, but does anyone know what could’ve happened to him? Any strange bird diseases I should know about? There were barely no warning signs.
