I have a catfish, got him about two months ago. He is freshwater, and the petstore I got him at couldn’t tell me what kind it was. The petstore suggested it was a columbian shark, but I have one, and it definatly isn’t. It’s deffinatly not an irodesant shark, or a pictus either. So here is a brief discription, if I don’t get some good answers I might try to get a good picture of him and repost this question again.
Ok, it is about 5 inches long, slender, silver color, a couple black spots on it’s sides. It has wiskers but not real long and they are dark. All fins and tail are clear, no coloration at all. It has a forked tail thats not rounded. It likes hanging on the bottom, but will swim around the whole tank. It is also a good community fish, it is in with 2 oscars, a green severum, a bass and a bluegill, and 3 other catfish of different types, .
Hope this is ok, if anyone can give me a type, or maybe a couple types that it might be, I’d apreciate it. Thanks all.
