For fishing in ponds, lakes rivers, streams etc. excluding ocean fishing. For fish like carp, catfish, trout, bass, sun fish, bluegill, pumpkin seed, etc. what baits have you found to be very good or not good and if possible for which fish ? P.S. I live and fish in CT.
what size of pond/lake do shad and other bait fish stop breeding in? When no shad or little minnows are present what do the predator fish eat? and what size of resavors do predator fish (bass catfish crappie ect.) stop breeding?
I live on a small/medium lake that has houses around about 70% of it. Is it safe to eat the bluegill from a lake like this or is there too much danger of contamination? I have seen lots of other people take fish from this lake. Also, there have never been any reports of the water being polluted.

i have decided to get anon brackish species. my options so far are a flounder,small mouth bass,sunfish or chiclids here is the link http://www.homedepot.ca/product/60-gallon-preformed-pond/935030. also is there a large talking 11 inches here fish that will fit.here are all the things that are going to be in it.

I caught a little small one (about 3 inches) and put it in my fish tank. I know they will eat night crawlers, and meal worms.
What can I feed it in the tank? I want to see how big I can get it to grow.

I just caught a black crappie and 2 sunfish yesterday and put them in my 10 gallon tank at home, but they still aren’t eating. Can someone tell me what to do or what to feed them.
