I am new to the area..Have caught peacocks (a lot of fun) various cichlids, tilapia etc….Some Largemouth, very few bluegill…no crappie…It seems to me that SE Florida is over run by exotic species..

Does anyone remember what the name of this old fishing game is?
I used to play this fishing game when i was younger about 4 or 5 and it was a lot of fun. You could catch bass, trout, pike, muskelunge, bluegill, sunfish, salmon etc. It has a very recognizable opening video. The video starts off with a guy casting his line out and it had some kind of frog lure and he was going along lily pads and a huge fish comes and hits it and the guy fights the fish for like a minute and brings it in. Also there is a huge selection of lures and stuff. The gameplay features your character on a boat and you drive around and cast out and wait for fish and if a fish gets it makes a noise and as you bring it in some kind of fast music plays. If anyone knows the name of it can you please tell me i really had a lot of fun with it
Freshman Crappie fishing fun.

Best setup for a beginner fly fisherman?
The only fly fishing experience I have is shows on the outdoor channel, it looks extremely fun. I would like to fly fish for crappie, bluegill, sunfish, and bass. I’ll be living in texas, I already love to fish, but I’ve always used spinning and baitcasting gear. Any help you have would be greatly appreciated, I’m applying for a summer job and plan on saving a bit and getting a nice setup. I love fishing and have almost no doubt that I will love fly-fishing, so I’m not going to get the 30 dollar shakespeare at wal-mart.
And if someone could explain to me the Rod/line weight system? I hear a lot about 8 weight rods, and nothing about the line, and I have no idea what “8 weight” means. Thanks

Mean Cockatiel?
My cockatiel that i got about a month ago, was really mean at the beginning, was the sweetest bird for like 3 days, then is no mean again, its not fun to hold her anymore because she bites you, and she is starting to bite harder and harder. She gets out of her cage for at least an hour a day. We do everything right, or at least i think we do
What can i do to make her nicer…or should i just get her a buddy, because i want to get another cockatiel that is nice tempered…and they have like 40 at my local petstore
I just don’t know what to do with this bird…i don’t like holding her anymore, because she won’t even cuttle with you anymore…she would come up and sit under my chin and rub her head on my face, but now she just bites…all she wants to do is sit on her perch, and to be left alone
She is about a year 1/2, and i got her from a friend who had her in a room to just fly around, the bird was a decoration and wasn’t tame at all, and my friend gave her to me
Oh, and she lets me scratch her head, if im holding her and she can reach my hand, she will bite me, and put her head down for me to scratch it, i don’t and wait for her to stop biting me then i scratch her head
Here’s a fun dream to interpret….?
My situation: I’m 30 years old, single, rent a duplex, start a new job on Monday. My cat, named Kiwi, is 4 years old. I’ve always been able to tell why I have dreamed about something, based on what was going on in my life, or the thoughts of the previous couple of days. This, however, has nothing to do with any of it. I usually don’t remember my dreams, unless I’m awakened during the dreaming cycle.
In a rural area, it starts off with me in a house that I’ve never been to before. We went to town to get something from the market, and came back. I noticed my cat was missing. I went into the woods to try to find her. I noticed a mideval convoy of about 10 people on horseback on a dirt road. I then noticed a lady in a tiger costume on a horse ride past me. I then saw 3 tigers perched in the hills above the road, watching me. Next I was running by some deer, jumped over 2, and the buck got angry and ran beside me. He then turned to attack, but I avoided it, and ran some more.
There was some more running in the woods, beside a lake, and then to some people on top of the hill that forms the lake. Then there was a bar full of people, and we all exited. This is where it gets interesting. On top of the hill, in a group of about 50 people, I noticed everyone laid on their backs to look at the sky. I did the same, and saw a meteor shower. Although there were way too many meteorites, probably about 100 per second, and they were too small, and moving in a pattern. I noticed two red slow moving meteorites, leaving a long trail. Then it all stopped, and Mars faded into view in the middle of the sky, but it was the size of the moon, not a red dot. Then it rotated up 90 degrees, and back down 90 degrees, then about 45 degrees to the right. A small blue light appeared on its surface, and everyone started to get scared. So we all stood up and ran to the left, and heard an explosion in the distance behind us.
Then while running to get away, I heard artillery thumps in the distance, and looked up. I noticed artillery above us, coming down at our position and in our path. So we all walked backwards.
While trying to understand this dream in my sleep, I remember thinking it must be associated with something mystical and ancient.
I can’t relate this to anything going on in my life right now, so any interpretations would be helpful. Thanks!
