What kind of fish are usually stocked in small private ponds?
The golf courses at my country club close on Mondays, so I was going to sneak out there and fish in some of the lakes they have on the courses.
I KNOW they have those small fish (I think carp or bluegill, not sure), but I’m not sure what bigger fish they have.
I think that, if there are big fish, they could actually be big.
Here are my main questions:
What kind of fish do you think would be stocked in there?
How likely is it for me to catch ANY fish?
What kind of lures should I use?
Please add any advice or information!
I’ve already gotten permission from my Country Club.
Southeast. Atlanta to be specific.

I have been cleaning some bluegill fish which I caught today. Inside one of them was a large yellow mass.?
Are these immature eggs, a section of fat, a tumor, an abnormality of some other kind? Is this normal? In case you couldn’t guess I do not fish that often and usually fish later in the year, so I don’t know if that is why I have never seen anything like this before.
Ultimately is the meat of this fish fit to eat?

What kind of sunfish is this?
Found this picture on the internet & was wondering exactly what kind of sunfish it was. I cought & started keeping a small one that looks exactly like that a few months back & was wondering what kind it was.

Does anyone remember what the name of this old fishing game is?
I used to play this fishing game when i was younger about 4 or 5 and it was a lot of fun. You could catch bass, trout, pike, muskelunge, bluegill, sunfish, salmon etc. It has a very recognizable opening video. The video starts off with a guy casting his line out and it had some kind of frog lure and he was going along lily pads and a huge fish comes and hits it and the guy fights the fish for like a minute and brings it in. Also there is a huge selection of lures and stuff. The gameplay features your character on a boat and you drive around and cast out and wait for fish and if a fish gets it makes a noise and as you bring it in some kind of fast music plays. If anyone knows the name of it can you please tell me i really had a lot of fun with it
What lure attracts bass but not sunfish?
Where I fish, I have caught a couple good sized bass so i know that they’re in there but there are so many sunfish. I don’t want the sunfish just the bass. I have been using live worm for bait. What kind of lures will attract the bass but the sunfish will not want? Even a smaller lure because not all the bass are very big yet. Thanks for the input.
