I have a young sunfish i caught in a stream. Today i noticed its tail and back are white and it cant move its tail or that part of its body. Is he dying or can i save him??

Fishing in Rocklin, CA?
I want to try fishing in Clover Valley. I know that there are several ponds and a stream there. Which pond or part of the stream are best for fishing? How do I get there? Any other good fishing spots in Rocklin?
I know Rocklin isn’t the best place for fishing. However, I just want to get outside and fish, even if I only catch something small. Years ago I used to fish the creek running through the Stanford Ranch area with my friends. We would catch bullheads, smallmouth, and bluegill. I appreciate any advice and information, Thanks!
