stocking lake pike in southern nj. help!?

recently i found a pond about an acre large. over the summer the pond shrunk to the size of a pool. and the depth is only about 6 inches to a foot. Littered around the lake are small pike (up to 6 inches) and sunfish dead. So i walked into the pond and caught a pike about 4 inches in a net. It didnt look healthy at all so i put it in a 10 gallon tank and threw in a bubbler to oxygenate the ater. if the fish lives i plan to move it to the lake behind my house that is about 40 acres large and about 20 feet deep at most. This lake has only largemouth and bluegill. What should i do keep the fish alive? he dosent lookgood is is lying on the bottom of the tank but still breathing. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Me and my little brother found a plunge pool behind a damn and we have caught catfish bass crappie and bluegill in there but none of the fish are very big. Any tips to catch bigger fish?
