Going to Lake Allatoona (Canton, GA) soon and would like to find some nice, quiet spot to fish. Any nearly flat, isolated spot good for a dog and four or five people with few trees and not a lot of rocks. We usually go to Field’s Landing, and we catch a lot of Crappie with minnows, but there’s a lot of rocks and people there, and its sorta hilly. Thanks in advance.

I’ve been going to my usual fishing spot for a few weeks now, and have caught largemouth bass, crappie, sunfish, bullheads, rock bass, etc. It’s really fun! But the past two days I’ve gone there, the fishing has been much slower, could it be the time of day? Or the fish aren’t hungry? My staple lure I use is a jig head with a Berkley Gulp! 2.5″ Minnow. I’m going early tomorrow morning and i’m hoping to have a more rapid catch. Any suggestions? Theories? Etc……………All answers appreciated!

A black bird perches on our porch every night. He/she has no nest or anything but would stay in this spot.
Do you think this was someone who is dead, or a sign of some kind.
Or is this just a coinkidink?

I seen one and it didnt have any eyes and it doesnt have a spot for a reel. Can you reccomend a good length?
My dad has to weenie dogs and one is spoiled rotten. He has his one spot on the top of the couch ‘his perch’, it is right in front of the window and he barks at EVERYTHING, even when the little invisible grasshopper makes noise.
So, when I’m home, I do NOT allow him up there at all. When I go to the bathroom or in another room other than the living room he jumps up there and starts barking, so I pick him up and put him on the floor and tell him ”NO” and he tries to bite me. I have told my dad this and he thinks that I need to continue what I’m doing and he does the same thing, but my step-mom thinks that we are abusing him and that we need to stop. Who’s right?
