Last year at this time i was catching crappie in 15 ft of water with the water level normal. This year the lake is down a lot. I was wanting to konw if they will be in 15 ft still or since the water is down will they go down the amount that the lake is down?

Pond looks like a big pot of coffee?

I have gotten most of the leaves out of the pond. I need to know will this fix itself or will i have to do a water change?

I currently have fish (Koi, Goldfish, Catfish & Bluegill), turtles and snails in the pond.
The pond is 15′ x 25′ and has 2 filters. 1 on each end.

How fast can these fish i caught survive in a bucket? ?

I caught 2 sunfish, 2 pickeral, and 2 crappies. I have them in a stagnant bucket of water from the lake. How long will they survive? I need them to survive around 15 hours. I’m bringing them home tommorow. Will they survive? I was told they should. The bucket is 1.5/4 full. I have no aireators and no plants with me. The pond is in the back of my grandmas house so I can walk down and get more water.

How to catch a 4′ catfish in shallow, stump filled water- drag tight or loose?

Yesterday I hooked a 4′ flathead on a panfish gold hook LOL I was not expecting anything THAT large and was awestruck when what I thought was a tight drag setting was simply not tight enough to keep this monster from pulling out to the left and back around a stump and to the right before I tightened my drag. At that point my gear shot out of the creek back at me and I recovered all of my gear, but I want to go back and try again and would like to know if I should just let it go loose on drag and keep it loose to maneuver my line over the stump as it travels or keep it tight to not let the fish do what it obviously wants to do. If you have experience working in backwater creeks like this from a raised position and opportunity to make it to the bank after the fish is tired, as to land it, please give me some of your fishing guru wisdom here. I will trial and error based on some good technique ideas. I can’t buy any other reels or poles so what I am looking for is technique and experience in an answer, not equipment upgrades or boat usage. By raised position I mean that I would start out on the road/flow through pipes and maneuver down rocky embankment to the shore to drag him in.
BQ: Am I living a fantasy thinking I might be able to land a 50# flathead in this manner? I am not looking to be ridiculed here peeps. I love fishing and that thing just gave me the most exciting 12 seconds of my fishing experiences and I am just hoping I might be able to learn some ideas to be more prepared from you.

Shh, don’t tell my hubby…(fishing question)?

We have a couple different bodies of water near our house. Two major rivers and a small lake with an average depth of 12 feet. The lake is a trophy muskie lake. Everytime we go fishing my kids and I stay near shore catching blue gill, crappie, and an occasional bass. I would like to impress (actually outfish him one of these days) by catching a nice wall-eye or muskie. I have no idea what to use or how to do it…he is quite secretive with his big fish techniques! So…my question is “What pound line should i be useing, what kind of bait, where should i look, and do i have to have a steal leader for the muskies? (cuz i have no clue how to use those!)
